MacOS X Leopard on your PC

1 November 2007 in OS

I’m pretty sure you already know about the Apple Leopard launch. And if you own a Mac, you most likely already buyed your own DVD.

As far as I’m concerned this is a great update to those who appreciate Apple OS.

The most interesting stuff about this launch, is that not even a full day got by until the PC users could enjoy this new version on their system. The famous hackers that brought almost all previous versions to the PC, already managed to create a patched version for those who still use the more powerful PC.

You can find a simple How to Install Leopard on your PC in 3 easy steps! at Hack Attack.

I personally find the idea of not making the OS available for PC users very lame. Seems almost like Apple doesn’t want it software to compete with Windows… or maybe its because the OS would break if it were to support the hardware Windows supports?

By the way, if I were to bash the new Leopard, I would certainly start with the lack of Java 6…
