Sysinternals avaiable as Windows Share
1 June 2008 in MicrosoftIf you are as addicted to Sysinternals tools as I am, I think you will like to know that you can now access the Sysinternals using the Windows share: \\live.sysinternals.com\tools
This is something I’ve never seen (Internet wide share), and I really think that it help when you need some of the tools.

LOL do you know your Windows pwned boxen?
Windows translated that into:
http://live.sysinternals.com/tools/
Of course it isn’t a Windows share, but plain normal HTTP.
Please don’t use that horrid syntax on the web.

@rui
Didn’t know it was based on WebDAV, but so what? What matters is the quick access you can get from every windows box.

Rui, amazing, my windows box lists http directories on the shell , now that is cool .. except .. wait … let’s try this
C:\Program Files\CommandLineTools\sysinternals>dir \\neacm.fe.up.pt\pub\apache\httpd
…….
……
Access is denied.
ahhhh dang .. .And Rui is always right and righteous … stupid windows
